1.Simple and Compact Design: Fewer components due to the floating ball mechanism, resulting in a lighter weight and more compact structure compared to trunnion-mounted ball valves.

2.Excellent Sealing Performance: The sealing effect is achieved by the medium pressure pushing the ball against the downstream seat. Higher pressure creates a tighter seal, making it ideal for shut-off applications.

3.Low Flow Resistance & High Flow Capacity: Provides a full-bore or nearly full-bore flow path when open, minimizing pressure drop and allowing efficient fluid passage.

4.Quick and Easy Operation: Requires only a 90-degree turn of the actuator to move from fully open to fully closed, enabling fast operation and easy automation.

 

5.Bi-Directional Shut-Off: Capable of sealing from both flow directions, although optimal performance is often achieved with flow direction specific to the valve design.

6.Good Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of media (water, oil, gas, steam, certain chemicals) depending on the seat and body materials selected (e.g., PTFE, metal-seated).

7.Ease of Maintenance: Many models feature a top-entry or split-body design, allowing for easy in-line maintenance and seat replacement without removing the entire valve from the pipeline.
